60 hlm. Key words : Blindfold game, Speaking, Descriptive Text Learning speaking is very important for students because it helps students to communicate. One of the media that can be used in teaching speaking is Blindfold game. Blindfold game media can make students interested and fun in learning speaking. This Blindfold game is used to teach speaking descriptive text. This research discusses the use of Blindfold game in teaching speaking descriptive text at the seventh grade students of SMP An-Nur Krian and the students’ difficulties in the implementation of teaching speaking by using Blindfold game. The subject of the study was seventh grade students of SMP An-Nur Krian, there were 21 students in the class, 15 females and 6 males students. This research uses qualitative approach. The researcher used three kinds of instruments to get the data, they are field note, interview, and questionnaire. The result shows that the use of Blindfold can motivate students in learning speaking. The difficulties encountered by students during learning English speaking by using Blindfold game is students are lack in vocabularies so that they have difficulty in expressing words to speak English. The students also do not understand English grammatical and the game's rules well, so they are not confident in speaking English. In conclusion, Blindfold game can be applied as a media to teach speaking at the seventh grade students of SMP An-Nur Krian.
